Mark has 23 years of experience in the Pub business.
Starting his career as a Barman and working
for companies such as Pubmaster,Century Inns, Leisuretime Inns and Gainsborough Taverns, having
his own pub he's now a far cry from his humble beginnings.

He has been Landlord at the Golden Cross since 1996 and has made many changes for the better in that time.

Lee Caudry Age 24
Bar Staff

Lee joined the Golden Cross in 2006 working Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays.

He is well known for his bizzare dress sense and choice of cars.

His full time job is general builder which he has been doing since leaving school.

Rufus 8

Security Manager

Rufus is a frequent sight around the Golden Cross and is a popular favourite with the younger and young at heart clientele.
No-one is found supping your pint when Rufus is around!!!

Tom Messenger 24
Assistant Manager

Tom left school at 18 after gaining various qualifications at GCSE level. Tom has also gained certificates in Travel & Tourism, Communication Studies and latterly in Food, Hygiene and Public House Licensing which he puts to good use in his current role making sure the standards at the Golden Cross are 'tip-top'.
Tom has been a friendly face behind the bar for 5 years and is popular amongst the locals and regulars alike.

Nina Mullerworth Age 35
Bar Staff

Nina first joined the Golden Cross team back in 2000 and worked here for four years, after taking a well deserved rest she then decided to rejoin us in 2008 due to popular demand.
You can find her behind the bar regularly on a Wednesday night and Thursday lunchtime.

Failing that you will find her the other side of the bar on many other nights of the week !

Nina's full time job is activities manager at a local

nursing home for the elderly.

Tony Salmon

Chef

Tony has been cooking at the Golden Cross since 2000.

Married to Tracy who has also worked at the pub, Tony has two children, the eldest of which, Aaron helps us out in the kitchen during school holidays.
